On Tuesday 9th March, the Department published Guidelines on Assessment and Reporting on Students' Learning Junior Cycle 2021.
The TUI has serious concerns over aspects of these Guidelines and has made strong representations to the Department.
Pending the conclusion of these discussions and pending the issuing of TUI’s associated advice, teachers should not plan any alternative assessments or reporting arrangement for final year Junior Cycle 2021 Students.
