The new public service agreement was published on Friday, January 26th, following extensive negotiations between the Government and the Public Services Committee of Congress. The document outlining the agreement can be downloaded by clicking here.

During TUI’s scheduled Executive Committee meeting last Friday, the agreement was discussed, and the Executive has made the decision to conduct a ballot among TUI membership on the agreement. The ballot is scheduled to commence on February 20th and will conclude on March 4th.

In early February, the Executive Committee will engage in more detailed deliberations on the agreement. Subsequently, a special edition of TUI News will be issued to outline the specific details of the agreement. This will provide you with valuable insights to consider as you form your opinions.

It is crucial to emphasise that each member plays a vital role in this process. It is your responsibility to inform yourself about the agreement and carefully consider its implications. Your vote will be instrumental in TUI deciding on whether to accept or reject the agreement, which is set to apply for the next 30 months, starting from January 1st, 2024.

We encourage you to actively participate in this democratic process, ensuring that your voice is heard. Further updates and information will be communicated to the membership.

We appreciate your attention and involvement in this important matter.

Thank you for your continued commitment to TUI.
