TUI branches vote in favour of memorandum of understanding in relation to CUA Technological University

Following ballots of members of the Galway-Mayo IT, IT Sligo and Donegal Colleges branches of the Teachers’ Union of Ireland (TUI), the Memorandum of Understanding in relation to transition to the Connacht Ulster Alliance (CUA) Technological University has been accepted.

The memorandum incorporates agreed position papers and agreement regarding future negotiations and engagement between the TUI and management and its acceptance marks a significant step in the path towards the establishment of CUA Technological University.

The TUI negotiating team thanks members of the three branches for their participation in the ballot and further engagement will now take place with management in relation to the upcoming phases of application for and transition to the CUA Technological University.
