Public Service Agreement 2024-2026  - National ballot of TUI members

As previously announced, TUI members will be balloted on the proposed new public service agreement, Public Service Agreement 2024-2026.

Ballot papers will be posted on Monday, 19th February, 2024 and must be returned to the auditors in the envelopes provided by 5pm on Wednesday, 13th March 2024. To ensure that completed ballots reach Deloitte by the closing date, members should post their ballots early.

The Executive Committee has decided to issue the ballot on the acceptance or otherwise of the proposed agreement without a recommendation. This is because of the differential impacts that the proposed agreement would have depending on the individual circumstances of members and the varying productivity measures that may apply to the sectors in which they work.

A second, parallel ballot for industrial action in the event of the proposed agreement being rejected is also being conducted. Regardless of how members vote on the acceptability of the proposed agreement, the Executive Committee is recommending that they vote ‘Yes’ in this second ballot.

Click here for a TUI News ballot special which has been sent in hard copy to workplaces. This gives full details of the proposed agreement, including the pay increases, and seeks to answer as many related questions as possible. It also sets out arguments for both voting to accept or voting to reject the proposed agreement.
