To honour the memory of our friend and colleague, the Teachers’ Union of Ireland (TUI) established the Bernie Ruane TUI Bursary.
One new bursary is awarded each year to a Leaving Certificate student whose intention it is to pursue a career in post-primary teaching. The bursary was first awarded in 2021.
Applications are now invited for the 2023 Bursary.
