Gerry Quinn resigns as Chair of the Teaching Council

By piofficer, Friday, 30th June 2017 | 0 comments

Gerry Quinn, TUI nominee to the Teaching Council has resigned as the Chair of the Council due to its decision not to use a publicly advertised recruitment/interview process for the appointment to the position of Director of the Teaching Council.

His decision relates to the appointment process. It does not reflect on the individual who has been re-appointed to the position of Director.

The TUI supports Gerry's decision.
