A big thank you to all TUI and ASTI members who participated in pickets outside their schools all over the country today.
Your contribution today delivered a clear and strong message to the Minister for Education and Skills and the general public that teachers are deeply concerned that aspects of the Junior Cycle proposals pose a threat to education standards, fairness and quality.
The feedback from union activists and representatives is that teachers on picket lines received a lot of good wishes and other messages of support from the public.
