Teaching Council Elections 2020 - Make sure to vote for your TUI-endorsed candidate

An election for teacher members of the Teaching Council will be held online from Monday, 24th February 2020 to noon on Wednesday, 11th March 2020. Full instructions for online voting, including two PIN numbers, will be distributed by post and by email by the Teaching Council

TUI has officially endorsed candidates in five constituencies in which elections are taking place. These are:

Another TUI-endorsed candidate, Anne Mulcahy (Education and Training Board Sector – Ireland South), was not opposed and has been deemed elected.

Please note that these are the only officially endorsed TUI candidates in these sectors. The Union urges all eligible TUI members to vote for these candidates in order to ensure a strong, coherent voice for the profession.

Profiles of TUI-endorsed candidates will also be posted in hard copy to relevant workplaces on Friday, 21st February, 2020 for distribution in staffrooms.
