The Public Service Pay and Pensions Act 2017 passed all stages in the Dáil and Seanad and was signed into law.
In accordance with the legislation, and in order to ensure that adjustments in salary due for 1st January are paid, the Irish Congress of Trade Unions has notified government that its affiliate unions are willing to be encompassed by the legislation.
