National online briefings will take place at 6pm on Monday, 4th November and at 5pm on Tuesday, 5th November to discuss the decision of TUI's Executive Committee to ballot all members in Education and Training Boards (ETBs). Your participation and support in this process are crucial as we stand together to safeguard our rights and strengthen our collective voice.

Ballot papers and a TUI News ballot special will be posted to workplaces on Friday, 1st November. Completed ballot papers must be posted back to the auditors by Friday, 15th November. Click here for a TUI press statement on the ballot.

During these meetings, we will provide a comprehensive presentation on the reasons behind the ballot, why it is necessary at this time, and the critical role each of us plays in shaping the future of our profession. The key issues at stake include effects on your terms and conditions, your workload, job security, fair play, all of which directly impact you and your colleagues.

Why Your 'Yes' Vote Matters

A strong 'Yes' vote will send a powerful message that we are united and committed to achieving fair treatment for all members within the ETBs.

This is a pivotal time for TUI members within ETBs, and your participation in this ballot is vital. Please join us at one of our online meetings to ensure you’re fully informed and prepared to make your voice heard.

Each Meeting will last no more than one hour

  • Dates and times : 6pm, Monday, 4th November and 5pm, Tuesday, 5th November
  • Invites will issue to branches and workplace representatives next week and reissue on Monday, 4th November

We look forward to seeing you online and building a unified, strong TUI together.
