The Department of Education payroll section has informed TUI that holiday pay for substitute teachers will be paid on the 9th of April 2020. This applies to all substitute teachers in Community and Comprehensive schools and in Voluntary Secondary schools.
In addition, the due to the Government decision on the management of the health emergency in the education settings, the Department of Education & Skills (DES) has implemented remote working from home for Department staff.
