TUI expresses abhorrence at massacre of Palestinian protestors

By TUI, Tuesday, 15th May 2018 | 0 comments

The Teachers’ Union of Ireland (TUI) has expressed its shock and abhorrence at the massacre of innocent Palestinian protestors in Gaza.

Five children under 18 years of age were among over 50 killed, according to the Palestinian Ministry of Health. In addition, over 2,000 people were injured in grossly excessive actions that represent a complete and flagrant violation of international law

TUI echoes the call of the ICTU’s Global Solidarity Committee for the Irish Government to strongly condemn the Israeli actions and, through the EU and the UN, to call for an independent investigation.
