Health and Safety Legislation Briefings
The teacher unions (TUI, ASTI and INTO) are co-operating on a pilot project to increase awareness of health and safety legislation, including the role of Safety Representatives, in schools.
Four informative seminars will take place in February and March 2018. These seminars are open to Safety Representatives in schools who are members of any of the three unions, to other members with a particular interest in health and safety, and to officers of local TUI, ASTI or INTO branches.
The details of the upcoming seminars (from 5-7p.m. in each case) are as follows;
Tuesday 20 February – Crowne Plaza, Blanchardstown, Dublin NOW FULLY BOOKED
Tuesday 6 March – Newpark Hotel, Kilkenny (register by Friday 2 March)
Thursday 8 March – Hodson Bay Hotel, Athlone (register by Monday 5 March)
Tuesday 13 March – Sligo Park Hotel, Sligo (register by Friday 9 March)
Each seminar will commence at 5p.m. and will include input from speakers with specialist expertise in health and safety. A buffet dinner will be served at 7p.m.
