Because of the variety of examination arrangements and administrative constraints that apply in the Institutes at this time of year, the union has had a number of requests from Branches for a short extension of the deadline for return of the papers in the current Third Level ballot for industrial action.
In order to accommodate members as far as possible, it has been decided that the final time and date for return of the completed ballot papers to the accountants, Deloitte, will be Tuesday 15th December, 2015, at 5 p.m.

Why is TUI balloting third level members?
As part of a campaign to have a range of crisis issues addressed through appropriate discussions, the Executive Committee of TUI is balloting third level members on engagement with a campaign of industrial action in order to secure a fair and sustainable resolution of these issues.
Ballot papers were posted from TUI Head Office on Thursday, November 26th.
