At Annual Congress 2000 the following motion was passed: -

Congress recognises Information Technology as a discrete, skills-based, practical subject to which the Union’s class size directive for practical subjects (a maximum of 24) shall apply with effect from the commencement of the 2000/2001 academic session.

It should be noted, therefore, that the maximum class size for Information Technology, with effect from the commencement of the 2000/2001 school year, is 24, in line with other practical subjects.

Members are reminded of the above policy and are directed to implement it.
