TUI vacancy on NCCA development group - Junior Cert Art, Craft and Design

TUI wishes to bring to your attention that the NCCA is now setting up a Development Group to review Junior Cycle Art, Craft and Design.

It has invited organisations to send in their nominations as soon as possible as it hopes to schedule initial meetings in the very near future.  TUI can nominate one person to the development group as there is already one appointee in place from previous years.

TUI continues to raise a range of education and resources issues in respect of the intention to implement a new junior cycle at a time of diminishing capacity in schools and pay reductions for teachers and principal teachers.  Therefore, participation by TUI nominees on these groups will be without prejudice to any position the TUI may take at a later time in respect of implementation.

Details of the role and an application form are attached and are also available on the TUI website. Due to time constraints it is imperative that applications reach TUI Head Office by Noon on March 6th 2015 in order that they can be considered by the Education Sub-Committee and Executive Committee.  Applications should be marked for the attention of the Education and Research Officer.
