TUI survey on casualisation of teaching and lecturing

TUI is currently carrying out a survey into the extent of casualisation of our profession.  The publication of the Ward Report is a very significant step forward at second level but the issue remains at third level.

It is also important that we gather up-to-date data on the problem of casualisation at second level so that we have baseline data to draw upon if any difficulties emerge with implementation of the Ward Report.

As a result, we would be very grateful if you could spend a few minutes asking information of your principal teacher (in the case of second level) or Human Resources Department (in the case of Institutes of Technology) and then filling out our the survey relevant to your sector.

The surveys can be accessed through the following links:
www.surveymonkey.com/s/casualisation2ndlevel (second level) and
www.surveymonkey.com/s/casualisation3rdlevel(third level).

Your assistance will greatly assist us in reducing the problem of casualisation for our members.  The survey will remain open until October 31st but the sooner we can draw down sufficient data the more benefit the data will be to us.

We appreciate your time and support in this matter.
