On the first day of the Leaving and Junior Certificate exams, TUI President Gerard Craughwell wished all exam students the best of luck and urged them to stay calm, to pace themselves and to remain positive.

Mr Craughwell also thanked the TUI members who have worked with this year’s Leaving and Junior Certificate students for their hard work and for continuing to deliver a high quality education system in difficult circumstances.

“On behalf of TUI, I want to wish the very best of luck to all exam students. Throughout the examination period it is important that students pace themselves and take care of themselves. Make sure that you eat and sleep properly and take regular exercise and study breaks,” Mr Craughwell said.

“In addition, Leaving Certificate students should remain calm and positive. Remember, there will be many options available to you after the exams,” he said.
