Further to the letter to branches of 13th December 2011, regarding the above matter, TUI wishes to advise that two candidates have been nominated for TUI endorsement in the Leinster Constituency election. Two candidates have also been nominated for endorsement in the Connaught/Munster/Ulster constituency. In the case of each constituency the candidates and nominating branches are as set out in the attachment below.

Each branch in the relevant Constituency is now asked to vote for the candidates in order of preference on the relevant voting form (appropriate to the constituency) and to submit the completed form (downloadable below) to this office, for the attention of the General Secretary, by Monday 23rd January, 2012, at 5pm by post, fax or email (jmacgabhann@tui.ie).

To take account of the differing sizes of branches, the vote of each branch will be counted as the number of delegates which they are entitled to send to Congress 2012.

In respect of each constituency, once a candidate is identified by this process, which has been agreed by the Executive Committee, this candidate and only this candidate will receive the full support of TUI as necessary and all TUI members will be encouraged to vote for this candidate and only for this candidate.
