Comments from TUI President Don Ryan in relation to Junior Certificate:

“In addition to providing a valuable learning experience for students, the Junior Certificate marks an important milestone in their educational lives.

We encourage all students to stay on and complete the Leaving Certificate programme. In the current climate there is little chance of a student entering the workforce at without at least completing the Senior Cycle so we urge them to stay on and complete the Leaving Certificate.

Finally, students should celebrate responsibly and with this in mind we urge vintners and those in the off licence trade to be particularly vigilant today.”
